Bath Water Flowers! This first EP by Darling Violetta is amazing from start to finish. As soon as you press play you can tell this is a very origional sound. Cami's vocals are amazing, I dont know many better. The stand out songs for me are Blue Sun ,which was also played by them in The Bronze on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Numb. If you're looking for a mixture of guitars, drums, string instraments and extraordinary vocals, you wont go far wrong.

Rating: 5/5 |

The Kill You EP!
Darling Violettas second EP, although very good, didnt quite hit the mark like the first CD. There was something missing that I cant quite put my finger on. That said, it does include my favourite song of theirs, "Awsome". It's so catchy from the opening lines and has an amazing chourus (see Lyrics). Along with "Spoilt and Rotten", it starts off, in many ways, better than the first, but for me, tails off a little near the end.

Rating: 4/5 |

Parlour! This is Darling Violetta's first full length album. It's by far the best CD of theirs yet. To name a few of the memorable tracks; "Pauline", "Benediction", "A Smaller God" and "Star Shoes (love is everything)." I perticularly like the way there are small instrmentals between some of the songs. I really can't put into words how good this is. I'm looking forward to the next album with great anticipation.

Rating: 5/5 |
